The course is taken in the form of three modules over three years. A lot is covered during that time including the FEDANT core elements.During the training we meet two weekends a month 10.00am till 6.00pm, with half an hour for lunch and two coffee breaks. In addition to the training weekends you are also required to evidence and observe four sets of antenatal classes. After you have completed the examination which takes place six months before completing the course, you will be required to conduct your own antenatal class which will be supervised.
The training may seem to be very long and intense compaired to some antenatal teacher training courses out there, but after training with BirthTeacher you will be glad you did. If you wish to find out more about the benefits of training with BirthTeacher please look at Recognition and Status.
